Fable

The Fable fabric collection for children "strives to evoke imagination, offer playful sophistication and add beauty to a well designed home." I spotted Kelly Silberman & Marike Rood's magical fabric collection & wallpaper range at this year's Design Indaba and fell in love.

Scooterin' along.

So another cool thing I got into this holiday was scootering! Micro Scooters kindly sent me some to try out and I had a lot of fun whizzing round town. Three wheels, two wheels or attached to a Samsonite, these make great gifts for kids, teens and adults alike. Visit the website to place orders - lots to choose from, and check out the marshmallow guns while you at it!

When i Grow Up i Want to be a Toy Tester

Wise words once stated by my husband when he was 18 trying to impress a girl working in a toy shop.

I'm in ♥ with these Skelanimals!

There's a whole Skelanimal world out there! There slogan is "Dead animals need love too"!

Shop at ToiToy.

Stella McCartney for kids

Delicious designer Stella McCartney is launching a 70 piece kids range in collaboration with GapKids launching November 2. Stella tried to “find a kind of balance between Stella as in what I do for adults…and how I see kids, really” and this she did. The kid friendly fabrics used in the collection are non-scratchy organic cotton, wool & cashmere, a T-shirt & a pair of white high top sneakers are sold with coloured markers for kiddy customisation, all shoes are made without leather & some pieces, like skinny grey jeans with ankle zippers & a grey cable knit cardigan dress, are mini versions of some designs from Stella's RTW collections.

What a cute campaign. Sizes range from newborn to 12 so any of u adults thinking you can squeeze, think again!

'Where Children Sleep'

'Where Children Sleep' is a fascinating book by English-born photographer James Mollison photo-documenting children's bedrooms from around the world. Photographed over two years with the help of Save the Children, "Where Children Sleep is both a serious photo-essay for an adult audience, and also an educational book that engages children themselves in the lives of other children around the world".
