I have a great view of Devil's Peak and Table Mountain from my bedroom window, and for a while now I've been doing a little photo study of it in all it's glory.

I shoot this on my Hipstamatic with my favourite combo...Bettie XL Lens & DC Film. Every shot's a joyous surprise of light.

Whizzing Around, Fleeting Glimpses

I know, it's been the longest non-blogging period of my short blogging life but I've been working hard on some beautiful new products for my online store Deep Dark Africa (new products launching mid Sept!), styling on some great jobs, trying to find time to stay alive (by eating, sleeping, the bare necessities) and keeping my husband feeling loved. In my whizzing around town I managed to catch fleeting glimpses of some awesome street art...

The Greenpoint Park

I have a new favourite spot in Cape Town - the Greenpoint Park! It really blew me away. A beautifully maintained park filled with educational information on biodiversity and our natural flora & fauna, fun and creative things to see & do, bridges, ponds, walkways, a giant sun dial, exercise equipment, a spectacular view of Table Mountain, the list goes on. Bustling with people picnicing, playing games, walking & lapping up sunshine, Greenpoint Park is an incredible inner city haven.

I'm definitely one of those Cape Townians who is in ♥ with my mountain man, so my Giant and I are trying to climb it every which way we can and this past weekend we did the magical Skeleton Gorge ascend and the equally breath taking Nursery Ravine descend. Some kiki's to inspire you to dust off those hiking boots.
