Taku Satoh Design Office

What is it about Japanese design that is just so cool, calm and collected?

Taku Satoh of Taku Satoh Design Office, a third of the directors of 21_21 Design Sight, a member of the planning team & art director of the TV program on the NHK educational channel entitled Nihongo de Asobo (Let's Play in Japanese), the creator of the Dezain no Kaibo (Anatomy of design) project of exhibitions "focusing on mass-produced items that up to now have rarely been discussed from a design perspective" and author of "the "Dezain no Kaibo" series (Bijutsu Shuppansha), and "A Whale Was Blowing Water"(Transart)", is at Japan's design helm and has been for a number of years.
