Another one of my top watch again & again Kung Fu movies. Directed by Ang Lee and starring Kung Fu movie favourites, Chow Yun-Fat, Michelle Yeoh & Ziyi Zhang this is a beautiful story about love, trust and growing up played out when "two warriors in pursuit of a stolen sword and notorious fugitive are led to an impetuous, physically-skilled, teenage nobleman's daughter, who is at a crossroads in her life". Winner of four Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film, Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction and Best Original Score, never mind the fly-through-the-air fight scenes, this film is a must for even non-Kung Fu fans (do you actually exist?!).
