Originally from Seoul, Soojin studied fashion & textiles at London's Central Saint Martin's College of Art and Design from where began her interest in working with textiles in 3D forms. "Soojin's work is focused equally on aesthetics and tactility, and seeks to evoke a heightened, intensified state of being in all who interact with her work. She works on creating new identities and strives to tell stories through her designs". Her works stem from the issues surrounding mass production and disposable fashion which she addresses through the re-use of materials and the exploration of the emotional relationship between humans and objects.
